Kent Bowls Youth Development Scheme
The KBYDS held an Under15s. skills day and competition at Mote Park Indoor B.C. on Sunday 16th. February, the day was well attended and enjoyed by everyone participants and spectators alike. The Friends of Kent Bowls donated the winners Shield and this was presented at the end of the day to John Gillman of Thanet I.B.C. The presentations were made by Chairman of the Friends of Kent Bowls and Past President of England and the KCBA Mr Arthur Hockley.

Web site launchTuesday 24th.. September the new web site was launched. In the future we may buy a domain name to match our web site, but for the time being we are using a sub domain of the Secretaries domain, this gives us the opportunity to change our web site host if we find something we feel is better.
Annual General MeetingThe first A.G.M. of the Friends of Kent Bowls will take place on Saturday 16th. November at Aylesford Community Centre, the meeting will immediately follow the A.G.M. of the Kent County Bowling Association, it is expected that the time of the Friends meeting will be at approximately 11.30am. The agenda for the meeting will be distributed to all members and Clubs by Saturday the 19th. October. The election of Officers of the Friends of Kent Bowls will take place at this meeting so we look forward to nominations from members prior to this date.
Allocation of FundsEarly in 2014 we will be asking for suggestions and applications for funding, the amount of money available in 2014 will depend on the number of current members.
