The 2011 Outdoor season started under glorious sunny skies, with the Yardsick Pairs Competition getting the season under
way. The green once again had been prepared to perfection and a good standard of bowling was achieved by all the participants.

After another succesful winter in short mat competitions and leagues, the winners were presented
with trophies at a club social evening. Pictured is the Short Mat Champion 2010/2011 Mrs Mary Travers.

Longmat & Shortmat
Both Long and shortmat indoor bowling will be available in the clubhouse from
the beginning of October, we would welcome anyone who would like to come along and try their hand at these.
Shortmat is played on Monday- Tuesday- Wednesday- evenings from 4pm.
Longmat is available Thursday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday evenings
from 4pm.
If you don't fancy trying it straight away just come along and have a look,
you are sure of a warm welcome. See you soon.
